Zhirong Huang

Professor of Photon Science, of Particle Physics and Astrophysics and, by courtesy, of Applied Physics

Zhirong Huang is a professor at SLAC and Stanford University. He is also the director of the Accelerator Research Division at SLAC. Zhirong has contributed significantly to the research and development, design, commissioning and operation of the world's first hard x-ray free-electron laser (LCLS) and its upgrades. He is a fellow of the American Physical Society and a winner of FEL2014 prize.
