Development of new algorithms for extracting 3-D protein structure from a series of 2-D x-ray Fraunhofer patterns, for comparing protein structures, and for Monte Carlo simulation of systems in theoretical physics; development of interactive computer programs and algorithms for use in data analysis; formal scattering theory and its application to the physics of fractional charge, spin, and anomalies. Radiation processes at high energy.
